access level payroll advisor (full access), enrollment specialist (full access), manager (full access) module leads lead card, payroll payroll card the mark as inactive action helps you manage employee applications that are no longer valid or needed this feature prevents unnecessary processing by automatically removing related tasks from the data dashboard benefits of using this feature keeps your employee records organized and up to date prevents accidental processing of withdrawn applications maintains a historical record while stopping further workflow actions simplifies management of duplicate or incorrect applications when to use this feature use the mark as inactive feature when an employee withdraws their application before processing you discover a duplicate application has been submitted an application contains significant errors and needs to be resubmitted a customer decides not to proceed with a particular hire accessing the feature you can mark an employee as inactive using either of the following methods method 1 from the lead card open the customer's lead card navigate to the enrollment tab select the employees subtab select the actions button next to the employee choose mark as inactive method 2 from the payroll dashboard go to the payroll dashboard select the customer's payroll card navigate to the employees tab select the janus employee applications subtab use the actions dropdown next to the employee record select mark as inactive what happens when you mark an employee as inactive when you mark an employee as inactive, two important system changes occur 1\ application status update β
