access level underwriting specialist (full access), manager (full access), sales representative (view only) module underwriting the underwriting dashboard is the primary workspace for managing customer risk assessment and approval processes this centralized interface allows users to review submissions, make approval decisions, and track the progress of underwriting requests across multiple categories dashboard categories the underwriting dashboard is organized into four main categories submissions outside submissions southeast ccp code addition requests each category provides specific functionality for different types of underwriting workflows and customer segments submissions the submissions section manages standard underwriting requests and includes the following status tabs pending new submissions awaiting review approvals submissions that have been approved for processing declined submissions that have been rejected payment declined submissions with payment processing issues outside submissions the outside submissions section handles external underwriting requests with the same status structure pending external submissions awaiting review approvals approved external submissions declined rejected external submissions payment declined external submissions with payment issues southeast ccp the southeast ccp section manages region specific underwriting with three status options pending southeast submissions awaiting review approvals approved southeast submissions declined rejected southeast submissions pending tab the pending tab displays customer submissions awaiting underwriting review each submission shows business name the customer's company name date when the broker submitted to underwriting broker name the submitting broker class code a number based on the customer's description of operations available actions users can perform the following actions on pending submissions view access the company profile notes add notes that transfer to the lead card download download the customer company profile desc of ops update the description of operations lead card view the customer's lead card view submission documents the view action allows users to access pdf documentation submitted for underwriting review these documents typically include company profile information loss history affidavit (lha) supporting business documentation adding notes the notes action button allows users to add notes to customer records these notes will appear in the history section of the customer's profile for future reference download the download action exports the customer's company profile as a pdf document description of operations the desc of ops action allows users to modify the description of operations use this when the provided description is too vague the description doesn't accurately match the business activities lead card the lead card action opens the customer's complete lead information for review approval process to approve a customer submission select the approvals action button (green checkmark) in the pending tab choose the carrier select attempt to charge review all required documentation select the approve button to finalize the decision βΉοΈ note use "was the payment processed outside of janus?" only when cash or other payment methods are collected outside the normal system process β
