access level payroll advisor (full access), manager (full access), enrollment specialist (view only) module payroll payroll card the details tab is a central workspace for managing payroll specific configurations and viewing shared customer profile information it is divided into two functional subtabs β payroll and customer βwhich allow users to make precise adjustments or review critical payroll data as needed π tab structure 1\ payroll subtab visibility available only when an active payroll record exists for the current processing week purpose view and update payroll specific settings data source pulls live data from prosoftware and the payroll customer profile 2\ customer subtab visibility always available regardless of active payroll purpose manage customer profile configurations, including payroll preferences and feature settings language preference the customer profile now displays the client's language preference es spanish preference en english preference this indicator helps ensure communications are sent in the customer's preferred language π§Ύ payroll subtab details payroll record configuration this section displays key configuration fields for the current payroll cycle invoice amount billing date check date pay period start & end dates interim payroll setting π note fields are auto filled during the weekly prosoftware sync if the payroll was created manually, values are user defined billing date aligns with the clientβs βprocessing dayβ setting unless manually overridden payroll customer profile section also labeled βshared properties from payroll customer profile,β this area allows modification of general payroll preferences employee pay delivery method check distribution options timesheet submission deadlines billing preferences (timing & method) delivery method from the questionnaire options default delivery method check delivery (fedex) fedex check delivery (pick up) pick up check delivery (fedex) + direct deposit fedex check delivery (pick up) + direct deposit pick up apply changes to future payrolls toggle this toggle determines the scope of changes made in the shared properties section off (default) changes apply to the current payroll only on changes apply to all future payroll records β οΈ warning enabling the toggle applies all changes to upcoming payrolls automatically π€ customer subtab details the customer subtab is a direct reflection of the payroll customer profile found under the clientβs lead card > payroll tab this profile is initially configured during onboarding, pulling data from the clientβs enrollment questionnaire and initial setup submissions payroll advisors can edit these settings as needed, either from the lead card or directly through the customer subtab on the payroll dashboard status management view displays the clientβs current payroll status edit allows status updates, subject to permission levels β οΈ restricted access status changes to pending cancellation or cancelled must be performed through the admin tab attempting to do so here will result in an error service feature configuration enable or disable optional service features based on client needs payment approval β requires client approval before invoices are processed time & attendance (t\&a) β enables employee time tracking tools paid time off (pto) β activates pto tracking and management certified payroll β enables compliance reporting for government contracts π for setup instructions, refer to the time & attendance, pto, and certified payroll feature setup guide π§ common how to guides update payroll settings open the payroll subtab make necessary changes toggle βapply changes to future payrollsβ as needed click submit enable customer features go to customer subtab enable toggles for desired features click save update customer status open customer subtab select new status click save π restricted statuses require the admin tab π data synchronization prosoftware sync weekly updates;
