New Client Flag: Overview & Manual Removal Process

π purpose the new client flag helps payroll teams quickly identify clients who are newly enrolled and actively processing their first records this flag stays on the payroll customer profile , not individual payroll records, and includes a counter to track the number of finalized payrolls the new client flag no longer removes automaticallyβit must be removed manually through the designated modal while the flag can be located using the flags filter, it cannot be manually added or removed via the admin tab on the payroll card π§© when the flag appears the new client flag is automatically applied after the first payroll record is created post enrollment it appears when the lead card status is either binding bound π where the flag appears located on the payroll customer card does not appear on individual payroll records note the new client flag includes a record counter that displays the number of payroll records processed for the client since they were added to the payroll dashboard this counter provides a quick visual indicator of how long the client has been actively processing with us π§ how to remove the new client flag step 1 click the flag click the new client flag on the payroll customer profile to open a modal step 2 complete all required items you must check all three boxes to proceed β

at least one payroll completed with client step 3 update processing program (optional) view or change the clientβs processing program using the dropdown menu any changes will update the clientβs profile once the flag is removed step 4 add optional notes you may leave a note to log any relevant info about the client all changes are stored for reporting and audit purposes step 5 click remove flag button becomes enabled only after all checkboxes are marked if any box is left unchecked, youβll see step 6 confirmation once removed, youβll see a confirmation message the new client flag disappears from the client card π logging & reporting all activity is logged , including who removed the flag date/time notes entered checkbox confirmations processing program changes data is available for management reporting and audit tracking
