release date friday (post reset deployment) π§© module payroll β payroll dashboard π access level all payroll users β¨ overview a new update to the payroll dashboard will be released this friday after system reset this update focuses on visual improvements and user experience enhancements for easier navigation, faster filtering, and better client list management note this update does not change any backend logic or payroll card functionality π updated filters format the top of the payroll dashboard now includes the following updated filters search bar carrier payroll advisor (defaulted to current user) flags more filters (previously "advanced filters") create new interim button β
key improvements all filters now support multi select β you can choose multiple options without triggering a reload each time after selecting your filter options, click the apply button to load the filtered results the default filter will still auto select the current payroll advisor you can remove or modify this as needed ποΈ more filters modal clicking the more filters button opens a modal with additional filtering options πΉ we recommend saving your preferred filter views for easier access and cleaner dashboards in future sessions π βis interimβ toggle renamed the former βis interimβ toggle has been replaced with a new dropdown called record type options interim only , regular only , or view both π§Ύ tab naming & order changes two dashboard tabs have been renamed for clarity and re ordered old name new name processing to do pending not reported the to do tab is now the first visible tab other tabs (pending approval, billing, delivery) remain unchanged π
day of week filter updates the day filters are now smaller and do not include an βallβ option by default, no day is selected , so you see all clients in the selected tab click a specific day (e g , monday) to filter click it again to deselect π collapsed client records (default view) the client list is now collapsed by default each line shows only client name carrier payroll advisor contact lead information status π½ expand arrow (right side) π number of records for that client click the arrow to view individual records π‘ why this update matters this update is designed to encourage users to focus on one client at a time promote cleaner workflows using saved filters improve performance by loading fewer records at once π¨ status box color updates weβve introduced color coded status boxes for each payroll record to give users a quick visual summary of where each record stands and whether further action is required π₯ red β error / rejected / failed indicates a critical issue with the record cc (credit card) charge declined or bounced email bounced notification apr (approval) client rejected the payroll record π§ orange β action required / pending signals that some step is still pending or requires follow up timesheet (ts) typically means the client is late on reporting , or an inactivity flag was triggered by the system apr (approval) sent to the client but not yet approved or rejected π if a record does not include the apr box , it means the client is not set up as a pending approval client and does not require client sign off on payroll delivery finalized email was sent, but fedex (fdx) or pickup (pkup) delivery not completed π© green β completed / approved confirms that the step is fully completed and approved apr approved either by the client or internally when all status boxes are green , the record is fully processed and requires no further action β¬οΈ gray β no activity yet indicates no progress has been made on the record most commonly seen under the not reported tab used for records where no actions have been initiated β οΈ known notes & recommendations some records, such as new timesheets , may appear incorrectly in the not reported tab these are usually rare and caused by a flag or inactivity issue please review and clear them as needed π summary β
