overview this feature allows enrollment and admin users to expedite carrier communication before the enrollment questionnaire is finalized it is designed to support cases where all other enrollment requirements have been completed, enabling earlier submission of the saic document and cid to the carrier π access & location available to enrollment and admin users only access point enrollment dashboard β actions menu visibility condition button becomes available once all enrollment requirements are completed except the questionnaire (qst) βοΈ functionality when users click βpre send mcfβ , the system performs the following sequence saic modal launch a pop up modal appears prompting the user to set the cid for reinstatement clients, users can edit the cid before saving for new clients, the cid pre populates automatically automatic bind actions once the user clicks save , the system sets the cid defaults the bind date to the current date generates and sends the saic document to the carrier record retention in βcurrently enrollingβ tab the client remains in the currently enrolling tab until the payroll advisor completes and sends the questionnaire (qst) only after the qst is submitted and sent to bind does the client move to the βsend to bindβ tab note if the pre send mcf is not used , the carrier email will be sent automatically when the payroll advisor sends the client to bind , and the system will prompt the advisor to enter the cid at that time if the pre send mcf has already been completed , the advisor will not be prompted to set the cid or bind date again, and the carrier email will not be resent π’ carrier applicability this feature can be used for the following carriers when early email submission is needed compeo peopaygo (ppg) cornerstone β οΈ important notes if this button is used before the questionnaire is completed the send to bind workflow will not resend the saic/mcf email to the carrier the cid and bind date cannot be modified afterward if the enrollment team receives the poi (proof of insurance) before the client is fully sent to bind do not upload the poi immediately store it until the send to bind step is completed the welcome aboard email and poi upload can only be done after the questionnaire is finalized and the client is fully bound β
